Chris Denney
Chris Denny is a Director of Network Communications for a transportation company, known for his hands-on, “get it done” approach to IT.
With no formal degree or certifications, Chris built his career through real-world experience; starting in a small consulting shop and growing into a role where he designs, deploys, and supports network infrastructure across distributed sites.
A self-described generalist, he’s worked across networking, systems, telecom, and end-user support, often stepping in wherever the business needs him most.
Chris attributes his success to strong communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to take on the work others avoid. He’s a firm believer that soft skills, persistence, and ownership are just as valuable, if not more, than traditional credentials in building a successful IT career.
